The CIAA conference concerns research on all aspects of implementation and

application of automata and related structures, including theoretical aspects.

In 2015 the conference will be held in Umeå, Sweden. The scientific program

consists of four invited lectures, presentations of 22 papers that were

selected by the international program committee out of 49 submissions, and

software demonstrations (see below). The conference will be opened on August 18

in the morning and end on August 21 in the afternoon. A small welcome arrangement

including snacks will be offered on August 17 in the late afternoon and evening.

This year Umeå University is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Umeå was elected

European Capital of Culture 2014. You can reach Umeå by train from Stockholm or

by plane via the airports Stockholm Arlanda, Helsinki Vantaa, or Gothenburg

Landvetter.

Software Demonstrations

We still encourage the submission of proposals for software demonstrations.

Researchers and developers who wish to demonstrate their software should send

a description of their system (approximately 2-4 pages) to ciaa2015@cs.umu.se

until June 12, 2015. The system descriptions should preferably use the LNCS

format. They will appear in the form of a booklet that is made available online

as well as in printed form at the conference.
