BCAM €“ Basque Center for Applied Mathematics has opened to fill a position of Industrial Research Project Developer in CFD, offering one position for 6 months.
The research to be conducted is aimed to provide quantitative results and solutions to a problem formulated by the Water Consortium of Bilbao €“ Bizkaia. Employing existing CFD software and developing additional codes in site, at BCAM, in collaboration with the Computational Hydraulic Group in Zaragoza, the objective is to simulate the sediment dynamics in the cleaning of a rainwater tank by means of high-pressure water injection pumps. Both direct simulation and optimisation techniques will be implemented.
The Industrial Research Project Developer will be integrated in the Research Line on Partial Differential Equations(http://www.bcamath.org/en/research/lines/PDE), Control and Numerics, under the supervision of Enrique Zuazua (http://www.bcamath.org/en/people/zuazua).
